Sioni Ruma
Mr. Sioni Ruma is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the Governance (service delivery), Higher Education, and Energy sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Programme Manager for the USAID-PNG Electrification Partnership (PEP) Activity under the Santos Foundation Ltd., Mr. Ruma brings a wealth of expertise in contract management for development programs.
His extensive background includes key roles such as Project Manager at the Australian Broadcasting Commission for Australian Humanitarian Partnership (ABC) International Development, Program Manager in Education and Leadership at the Australian High Commission, and Development Facilitation Manager with Coffey International Development.
Outside his professional endeavours, Mr. Ruma is actively involved in community volunteer work, serving as a Strategic Advisor to the Hiri-Koiari District Office and a member of the Board of Management for Porebada Primary School. Sioni is also passionate about gender and development particularly women in leadership in the Higher Education sector and the key roles women can play in decision making processes.
