We are seeking a young (or young at heart) and motivated individual to take a key leadership role within our growing organisation. The ideal candidate will have qualifications in Development, Social Work or similar. The position will work closely with the CEO and is responsible for managing the operations of EPF’s projects and the implementation of Child Protection Programme activities in the National Capital District area and to represent and advocate for Equal Playing Field’s work and organizational priorities in child protection with a wide range of external parties including government representatives, communities, donors, UN and other international and local agencies operating in the area. Provide leadership and guidance to the programme team and be instrumental in program development, facilitation and training across all our areas of operation.

This position will form part of the top leadership tier within the organisation and give the successful applicant a chance to contribute to landmark changes in the way we protect women, children and families in Papua New Guinea and the world. This is not a desk job! You will be out in the field; doing!

Communications Manager

This role will lead and advise the planning and design of plans and initiative for common communications, advocacy and outreach initiatives in line with the EPF communication strategy. As a senior role in EPF the role requires the development and delivery of strategy for mass circulation of EPF messaging across, social, print, digital, radio and print media. The Communications Manager will  work with EPF Program Management to develop and deliver engagement strategy to EPF’s stakeholders and the wider Equal Playing Field community.    

Through this role EPF aims to acquire new, and engage existing Equal Playing Field supporters and stakeholders by developing new communication materials, and to monitor and improve the effectiveness of our acquisition and engagement strategies. The Communications Manager will also be the main point of contact for all communications that goes out to supporters and stakeholders via emails, mobiles, publications and to develop, maintain strong relationships with donors and supporters in order to maximize retention and increase regular giving.
