It’s been a tough year for our high school seniors but at @equal_playing_field we have a philosophy about struggle. That we can either be a victim of tough times, or become stronger in spite of them.
Equal Playing Field Australia will be holding an event for High School students from around the Illawarra to breath and sweat and chat it out. You will learn some great foundational skills on how to become strong, as well as resilient, in mind and body.
Sessions will begin with male and female groups separate and then finish with us all together. They will include yoga and mobility, basic weight training and boxing, and a chance to learn from some people doing great things in and for the world. You don’t have to be ‘good’ at anything. Just come to learn and connect with other wonderful humans. That’s right, we think you’re wonderful.
Finally, for all the young men afraid of yoga and meditation, you aint hard unless you can be soft.
For all the young women who think you can’t be strong, and feminine, we will show you, you can certainly be both if you choose.
Shoot me a message if you or a family member are interested in attending. Please tag those you think will be interested.
Your coaches for the day will be Travis Roche and Maddelen Rosa and Equal Playing Field Co-Founder Adam Everill and the venue @ghettomovement. Tickets are by donation but cost should not be a prohibitive factor. Numbers will be capped to remain covid-safe.
