KOKODA IN A DAY

Choose your expedition and Run, Walk or Hike your way across Kokoda remotely, from anywhere in the world.

The Kokoda Track is a 96km track, with 6500 metres of elevation. Normally trekkers would choose to complete this adventure anywhere from 6 to 14 days and many call it the most challenging hike of their lives.

Our Cofounder, Adam Everill will be attempting the whole feat in under 24 hours on October 11 in the Wollongong escarpment. Join him there, or our PNG team in Port Moresby or start your own group from wherever you are.

How to get involved:

- Donate to our fundraising page at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/kokodainaday OR

- Start a Fundraising page and choose 'Fitness at home'

If you can, please pay your first $50 as an entry fee (please note that if at this time this is too much, pay less or nothing at all. It's a tough time and we just want you up there with us.

- Now either;

1. Challenge yourself to complete a certain amount of kilometres or miles on October 11 or 12, 2020 as a single effort. You should choose something that will challenge you to furthest reaches in the way the Kokoda Track would. This could be anything from 5km to 100km depending on your goals.

or;

2. Choose a longer Kokoda expedition and track your elevation and distance over your chosen number of days. Just like trekking it in real life choose a 6, 9,11 or 14 day expedition to complete the 96km and 6500m elevation.

With the recent launch of Equal Playing Field Australia this campaign will be a collaboration between the two offices in Australia and PNG, as we begin working with Australian communities and continue our groundbreaking work in Papua New Guinea.

Kokoda has always been an emblem for the PNG and Australian relationship. Now, in a time where we must be apart, we stand together and take on the Kokoda in a Day Challenge! Whos with us?
