Jacqui Joseph - Chief Executive Officer

Jacqui Joseph is the Cofounder of Equal Playing Field, an idea that has become a fully-fledged organisation in PNG with a strong focus in the primary prevention of Gener Based Violence (GBV).

Her work has reached urban to remote rural populations in Papua New Guinea and the Oceania region mobilizing school communities and youth groups. With over 12 years’ experience in implementing projects her work has earned her awards from prestigious organisations such as the Commonwealth Youth Secretariat for her contribution to the Pacific region and globally by the International Youth Foundation who awarded her a spot in 2016 as one of the top 20 Laureate Global Fellows program.

Jacqui is a leader in civil society through her role as the chair for the NGO Council that comprises of over 30 international and local organisation and outgoing Chair of the Civil Society National Reference Group.

In 2019 as part of her strong belief that one should ever be afraid of difficult tasks, she ran her first marathon in Dublin running her first ever 42 kilometres in 6 hours.
